Walk the Talk Coaching runs arts and crafts workshops for both children and adults, helping them get in touch with their creativity and connect with nature and the world around them. This is more important than artistic achievement. We facilitate rather than lead events, encouraging participants to relax, enjoy the moment and find their own ways of expressing themselves. As one parent-carer commented, “Relaxing, fun and creative whilst incorporating and enjoying nature at the same time.”
We work with three main groups: families with children looking for quality time together; children and adults with special educational needs who benefit from the holistic approach adopted at the workshops; adults who need some time out just to be, replenishing their energy and creativity
Our next workshop will be on the theme of “Leaves Galore”, It will be a family workshop for children (aged 5 and above) accompanied by their parent-carers.
The workshop will celebrate the colour and beauty of autumn leaves through simple craft techniques such as collage, stencilling and printing. Participants will be able to take away what they have made in the form of bespoke cards, pictures and gifts.
The date for the workshop will be:
Saturday 26th October from 10.30 to 1pm.
Location: Bedford House Community Association, 4 Westbury Road, Buckhurst Hill, IG9 5NW
Cost: £6.00 for children aged 5 and above. Parent-carers are invited to join in… (Free entry)
