Niru KhanNiru is an enthusiast with an intuitive understanding of young children and their needs. She delights in engaging them in activities that are stimulating, stretch them, build up their confidence and encourage purposeful communication.

She has a B.A. in English and full Early Years Professional Status. Specialising in the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Reggio Emilia Approach, she has wide experience of working closely with children, families, child-minders and practitioners in nursery settings and children’s centres.

She started out in Early Years communications in Mumbai, developing a successful Story sack Centre that was highly recommended as an Early Intervention Reading Programme. Since moving to the United Kingdom, her passion to support literacy and communication in young children has not waned, leading her recently to become a qualified licensee for ICAN, a national communication charity, delivering ICAN’s Early Talk 0-5s, Early Talk Boost and Talk Boost to birth to primary school age ranges.  She also delivers an Early Years Phase One Letters and Sounds programme.
